Jimenez elected 22nd UP President, vows to defend academic freedom
In his first public address to constituents since the Board of Regents announced his selection at Quezon Hall, Jimenez said he wanted to open a dialogue with student-leaders as soon as possible, adding that he will “always go back to” the studentry’s demands.
