MANILA – The UP Alliance for Responsive Involvement and Student Empowerment (ARISE) takes the majority of local college posts in the Engineering Student Council today, 27-19, beating rival UP Progressive Responsive Innovative Movement in Engineering during the primetime of the elections season: the voting day.

Meanwhile, lone ALYANSA college representative bet Erwin San Pedro garnered the most number of votes for the position, while STAND UP’s college rep duo takes slot two and three.

The college registered a voter turnout of 50.55% or 3,049 out of 6,032 students.
