Wildcats sustain 3rd loss vs. CSSP, 60-48

The Wildcats came close to trimming the lead midway in the 4th quarter, when Martin Javier sank a three-pointer and rookie Miko Morales completed a 4-point play. But CSSP was able to regain momentum and hold on to the lead until the final moments of the game.

The College of Mass Communication Wildcats lost to the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP) team 60-48, at the College of Human Kinetics gymnasium, Saturday, Feb. 7.

Kerr Ambrosio led the CSSP team with 18 points, while Moe Del Rosario led the Wildcats with 14 points.

The Wildcats came close to trimming the lead midway in the 4th quarter, when Martin Javier sank a three-pointer and rookie Miko Morales completed a 4-point play. But CSSP was able to regain momentum and hold on to the lead until the final moments of the game.

The loss is the 3rd for the Wildcats this season, thus reducing their chances of advancing to the next round of the Diliman Games basketball competition. A loss in their next game will end the team’s run in this year’s season.

The Wildcats will go up against the College of Education on Saturday, Feb. 12 for their next game.
