A man stabbed repeatedly was found dead today in the open field area fronting Albert Hall (National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology) inside the University of the Philippines Diliman campus.
According to police, the man, estimated to be around 20 years old, was recovered at Lakandula and Jacinto Streets.
Alexander Balucan, a security guard stationed at the nearby College of Fine Arts, said the multiple stab wounds on the man’s chest and back were still fresh when he was discovered 10 a.m. with only his underwear on.
No identification was found on him, but Balucan described the man to be fair-skinned, tall, and clean-looking.
The Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) of the Quezon City Police Department (QCPD) retrieved the body at around 2 p.m. The case, being handled by investigator PO2 Loreto Tigno, has been transferred to the QCPD Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit at Anonas Station 9.
