We just have to suck it up and face the music when it’s there. We were given fair warning for violence, corruptions and anomalies. I should be, somehow, ready for this.

On the ground: covering the battle of May 10

While the government was reassuring the public that any problem on Election Day was negligible, the stories we found in Malabon and Navotas reiterated that the possibility of failed automation was very real.
