Tigers edge Maroons in overtime, 87-81

The Maroons were ahead by one point with seven seconds on the clock, but Silungan fouled with three seconds to go and the game was sent to overtime for the first time in the season after a 69-69 tie at the fourth quarter’s end.

The Toki drivers’ proposed route would let them go to NIP, return to CHE to exit to Katipunan Avenue via Shuster Street, and then go to C.P. Garcia Avenue.

He said inasmuch as orgs have to find ways to finance themselves, Arao urged organizations to reconsider fighting for state subsidy, as UP was not rich, “unlike that other school across Katipunan.”

Dean Leonen said these kinds of organizations are fostering a “culture of violence” to prove their members’ “masculinity.”

“But what I know of masculinity has something to do with courage. To prove your masculinity does not require you to maim or kill an individual,” Leonen said.
